There’s nothing we like more at bv02 than helping great clients launch successful digital projects. That’s why we’re so happy to see that Futurefunder.ca, a crowd-funding platform launched by Carleton University last month, is receiving so much positive attention from the university community and the media.
I’ve been saying businesses need to go mobile for over a year now. That question isn’t up for debate, with mobile web traffic projected to surpass desktop browsing in the next few years, but the questions about technology remain. Are platform-specific websites the way to go, with a site specifically built for iPhones and another for Android devices? “Use GPS-enabled digital cameras to photograph Arctic wildlife 500 miles north of the Arctic Circle, and contribute to a growing online citizen science database.” Sounds like a pretty great adventure, or an excellent line in a job description, right? We like to bring an interesting digital experience or two, and the Canadian Museum Association’s 65th Annual conference at the Hilton Lac Leamy was no exception. That’s where we debuted MasterPieces, our collaborative digital canvas.
When we hired Brandon Brule, our newest Web Developer, we knew he could work magic in multiple coding languages, and we quickly learned that he might be one of the most contagiously enthusiastic people we’ve ever met. What we were surprised to learn is that he’s also a talented rapper! When we asked him for [...]
